How does it work? First, a layer of caron base cream is applied to your skin. Once the cream is set, a laser is used to treat the your skin. The skilled Aesthetician will create a grid around the loose skin with a simple hand-held Plamere device to create a mild controlled burn in the epidermal layer.
This will stimulate an inflammatory response within the dermal layer, creating more natural collagen which immediately contracts the skin, creating a significant tightening of the treated area.
Clients will see tiny polka dots or carbon-like marks in the first few days after treatment. They must not be picked at or scratched, as this will cause scarring. The dots will disappear within 7-10 days.
In 12 days after treatment, you will have pink new looking skin. The healing process will take a full 12 weeks to complete. There may be moderate swelling around sensitive areas.

How does the procedure work?
During a skin rejuvenation treatment, our MeDioStar laser emits light over the desired treatment area. The light energy inflicts controlled dermal damage which leads to subsequent collagen remodeling while preserving the skin’s epidermis. The treatment leads to regeneration of the skin structure, tightening of the skin, a reduction in pore size, brightening of pigmentation, and a reduction of small wrinkles.
How many sessions do I need?
It depends upon the extent of the skin laxity and the depth of fine line & scar/stretch marks. Most mild and moderate skin concerns will need only one treatment. Deep and severe cases will require 2 or more treatments
How do I Preparation for my Treatment?
It is recommended that SPF30 should be applied daily a minimum of 2 weeks prior to treatment. Professional strength retinol & hydroxy acid products should be avoided 2 weeks prior to treatment.
What Should I do After My Treatment?
As a natural healing response, it is usual for the treated area to become red and swollen, especially around the eyes. This can last for 3-8 days in most cases. You can use cool compresses and take antihistamine if needed to reduce swelling.
There will be a light crusting and/or small dots of deeper crusts in the treated areas. This simply flakes off after a few days but in some cases can last up to a week. DO NOT PICK! Clients will see tiny polka dots or carbon-like marks in the first few days after treatment. They must not be picked at or scratched, as this will cause scarring. The dots will disappear within 7-10 days.
Approximately 12 days after your treatment, you will have pink new looking skin. The complete healing process will take a full 12 weeks. There may be moderate pinkness around sensitive areas for up to 12 weeks but this can be covered with a mineral based makeup.
The area must be cleansed 2X daily with an antibacterial soap and you will be given a post care healing cream to use. For optimal results we recommend:
- For 12 hours after treatment: No makeup
- For 48 hours after treatment: No sauna, no sunbeds, no sun exposure, no botox or fillers.
- For 7 days after treatment: No swimming, no Alpha Hydroxy Acids or Retinol
- No anti-aging creams
- No exfoliating products
- At ALL TIMES an SPF30ᐩ must be applied and the skin should be protected with hats, sunglasses and clothing.
- Regular moisturizing with your prescribed cream will accelerate the healing process.
- Mineral based makeup can be used to conceal the “pinkness” of new skin.
