Microbladed eyebrows last 1 to 2 years for most people, before it usually needs a touch up. For permanent lips and eyeliner, it lasts 3 to 5 years.
It usually takes 2 hours, with most of the time spent going over colors and drawing eyebrow shapes. The microblading portion lasts 30-45 minutes.
Technically microblading is a form of micropigmentation, but we use a microblade to hand draw individual hair strokes. Micropigmentation specialists use a permanent makeup machine, which offers less control and results in blurrier strokes.

*1st Appointment – “FOUNDATION SESSION” – The design is quite dark for the first week and softens as they heal over the next month. Everyone’s skin is different, some people will retain a lot of color, and others will heal very light or patchy. This appointment is not meant to heal perfectly. This appointment takes approx. 2- 2.5 hours total
*2nd Appointment – “PERFECTION SESSION” – to touch up any light spots, build additional texture, color and correction. This session usually takes approximately 1 to 2 hours. Some people may need more than two sessions to achieve their desired look, due to stubborn skin, improper aftercare, age etc.

- First Day: Gently blot the treated area 2-3 times with the provided wipes. Apply a small amount of ointment after blotting.
- Day 2nd to 7th:
– Gently cleanse the treated area 1-2 times a day with antibacterial soap (i.e Dial) and rinse with water to prevent infection and scabbing. Otherwise keep the treated area dry. Too much water will exfoliate the skin and affect the color retention.
– Apply a small amount of healing ointment 2-3 times/ day or as needed to keep the treated area moist.
– Oily skin can skip the ointment. Consult with your technician for the proper instruction

Minnesota Brow Lash Studio & Academy
